Your Child and Preschool
The ages between birth and age five are the foundation supporting succcessful lives. During these years, children develop the language, thinking, physical, emotional and social skills that they will need for the rest of their lives.
The St. Leo Preschool program is designed to provide a happy, secure place where each child will have a variety of experiences:
To develop these skills
To develop a healthy, positive image of God
To develop a positive self-concept
To grow in awareness of his or her special talents and abilities
Curriculum
Program incorprates the Early Learning Content Standards of the Ohio Department of Education and includes readiness activities for religion, language arts, reading and math; activities to develop motor skills and social skills; science and nature study; art; crafts; music; field trips and snack time.

St. Leo Preschool, established in 1985, operates under the state charter of Diocesan Catholic Schools. It is licensed by the Ohio Department of Education and is operated according to mandated rules and regulations.
